Inter-ministerial consultations with Visegrad Group states held in Chisinau

Chisinau, 21 March /MOLDPRES/- Inter-ministerial consultations at level of political directors of the Visegrad Group member states (Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovakia) were held in Chisinau today. The Moldovan delegation was led by deputy ministers of foreign affairs Daniela Morari and Lilian Darii, and the delegation of V4 countries was made up of political heads of the foreign ministries and ambassadors accredited to Moldova, the Foreign and European Integration Ministry’s information and media relations service has reported.
Deputy foreign ministers thanked for the support on behalf of the Visegrad Group states in implementing Moldova’s European agenda, by sharing experience and assistance for promoting reforms, and mainly, at political level, messages and actions taken within the EU.
The Moldovan officials appreciated the joint efforts of V4 for maintaining the initiative of the Eastern Partnership among priorities of foreign policy and tendency to complete next stage for development within EaP.
Representatives of V4 states reiterated support for Moldova in development assistance, as well as support in implementing the future Association Agenda, which will cover the period of next three years. At the same time, the political directors of V4 released messages of encouragement to overcome the current problems faced by the country in order to advance in reformation and modernization, noting that Moldova’s place is in the EU.
