Moldovan government sets permanent platform of dialogue with civil society

Chisinau, 21 March /MOLDPRES/ - Twenty six members representatives of the organized groups of the civil society have been selected following the completion of the selection of the members of the National Council for Participation (CNP), the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
CNP will have the role to strengthen the platform of communication with the civil society in the process of working out, implementation, monitoring, assessing and updating the documents of strategic planning. At the same time, the goal of institutionalizing the relations between the central public authorities and the civil society is to develop, at the national level, a mechanism of promoting the participation of civil society organizations in the decision-making process – commitments provided for in the National Action Plan for the implementation of the Moldova – European Union Association Agreement.
On the period of 20 January – 20 February 2017, the State Chancellery held a public contest for selecting the CNP members.
The National Council for Participation was set up under the government decision No 11 from 19 January 2010, amended through the government decision No 1430 from 28 November 2016.
