Moldovan, German officials broach reforms

Chisinau, 22 March /MOLDPRES/- Deputy Foreign and European Integration Minister Daniela Morari had a meeting with a group of MPs of Bavarian Landtag, on a visit to Moldova, the Foreign and European Integration Ministry’s information and media relations service has reported.
The sides exchanged opinions about the current issues on the agenda of Moldovan-German political dialogue, implementation of reforms seen in the Association Agreement with EU, Transnistrian conflict settlement and prospects for boosting the bilateral relations in various fields of common interest. Morari presented the achievements recorded in the European integration, as well as Moldova’s priorities in using potential of the Eastern Partnership before the summit in autumn.
Morari also thanked Germany for the valuable support given to Moldova in implementing sector reforms, and reiterated the importance of maintaining it in the future.
For their part, Bavarian Landtag’s representatives reiterated their willingness to boost the Moldovan-German bilateral relations and to further back the country to implement reforms for the citizens. In this context, they encouraged the communication and information efforts for European integration.
