Moldovan government strengthens judicial system's capacities

Chisinau, 22 March /MOLDPRES/ - The cabinet, at a today’s meeting, approved a technical concept of the judicial information system, aimed at automating and facilitating the manual working procedures at law courts.  

According to the government’s communication and protocol department, the aforementioned system’s implementation will enhance the transparency of law courts, will ensure the security of information and will strengthen the capacities of the judicial system in fighting corruption.   

The draft provides for the creation of a single system of automated documentation, record and control of the work of electronic management of files and other procedural materials, issued by the Moldovan law courts or received by the latter for consideration.   

The system’s basic components are the National Portal of Law Courts, Information Solution e-Judicial File, Information Solution of audio recording of court sessions and the Integrated Programme of Files’ Management. This programme will ensure the automated aleatory distribution of files in court, removing possibilities of manipulation and the unauthorized interventions in data from files.
