Moldovan president appoints to office ten judges of 15 put up

Chisinau, 22 March /MOLDPRES/ – President of Moldova Igor Dodon signed today decrees on appointment of the following judges: Liudmila Caraianu is appointed judge at Comrat Appeal Court, Eugeniu Psenita – Vice Chairman of Edinet Court, Tatiana Avasiloaie, Ecaterina Buzu, Natalia Clevadi, Elena Costiuc, Dumitru Bosii, Adrian Cerbu, Igor Chirosca and Radu Holban were appointed as judges to achieving of the age limit, the presidential press service has reported.
During the meeting with judges, also attended by Chairman of the Council of Magistrates, Victor Micu, it was held a discussion on system situation by means of reorganization of the courts.
The discussions focused on the need to strengthen the judiciary and improving the administration of justice.
The head of state sent the request to promoted magistrates to meet with maximum responsibility the service obligations as to be impartial, open and honest, to safeguard the rights and freedoms of citizens, to avoid actions that harm the interests and prestige of judiciary.
