Moldovan, European officials approach bilateral relations

Chisinau, 27 March /MOLDPRES/- Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign and European Integration Minister Andrei Galbur today met Managing Director in the European External Action Service Thomas Mayr Harting.

According to the Foreign and European Integration Ministry’s information and media relations service, the talks were focused on developments of dialogue Moldova-EU in the context of Association Council, due in Brussels on 31 March 2017.

The sides welcomed negotiations on new Association Agenda Moldova-EU, held last week, and exchanged opinions about perspective of Eastern Partnership Summit in November 2017.

Taking into account Mayr Harting’s role as EU representative in the 5+2 format, the sides approached the latest developments in settling Transnistrian conflict, priorities for next period and regional cooperation.
