Moldova, Greece date 25 years of diplomatic relations

Chisinau, 27 March /MOLDPRES/ – In the context of the celebration of the 25th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Moldova and Greece, Deputy Prime Minister Andrei Galbur, Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, addressed a congratulatory message to Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Hellenic Republic Nikos Kotzias, the Foreign and European Integration Ministry’s information and media communication service has reported.
Minister Andrei Galbur highlighted the durability of the Moldovan-Greek relations, being reflected in the constant strengthening bilateral political dialogue in all areas, and the excellent cooperation in foreign policy, including international organizations. The head of the Moldovan diplomacy noted with satisfaction two major achievements for Moldova, which took place during the EU Presidency of the Hellenic Republic – visa liberalization for citizens of Moldova and Association Agreement with EU.
Also, the Moldovan official reiterated the desire to intensify and diversify bilateral relations in areas of mutual interest, including in terms alignment with the European standards and values of Moldova.
Moldova established diplomatic relations with Greece on 27 March 1992.
