Moldovan premier encourages entrepreneurs to do business in rural settlements

Chisinau, 6 April /MOLDPRES/ - Prime Minister Pavel Filip, within a today’s visit to the central Orhei district, met more entrepreneurs from the Braviceni village, to discuss their experience and vision as for measures the cabinet should take to back the development of local entrepreneurship, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
The PM noted that the model of development of the Braviceni village, which allowed attracting external funds and starting more businesses in the settlement, by creating well-paid jobs, should be followed by other settlements as well. “Where there is wish, where there is determination, a lot of problems can be settled. Over 80 per cent of the Braviceni residents have well-paid jobs here, at home,” Pavel Filip said.
The prime minister visited an enterprise specialized in processing milk and making dairy products, including various types of pressed cheese and cream, sold in Moldova. The enterprise provides jobs to 104 people from the settlement, of whom about 80 per cent are women.
Also, Pavel Filip discussed with managers of a cooperative specialized in making fowl products and rabbit meat goods. The PM showed interest in the production process, the economic agent’s relation with the authorities and the enterprise’s development plans.
In the end, the prime minister encouraged the entrepreneurs to further develop their business, create new jobs and contribute to the modernization of the settlement’s infrastructure.
