Meteorologists issue yellow code of wind intensification in Moldova

Chisinau, 7 April /MOLDPRES/- The State Hydro-meteorological Service (SHS) today issued yellow code of wind intensification throughout the country till 8 April.

Meteorologist Natalia Cancer said that during this period it is possible to be temporarily interrupted electricity and communication links, tree branches can break off and dried trees may be pushed down. “Today and tomorrow it will rain throughout the country and heavy rains are expected at night”, she said.

According to data by the SHS, minimum temperatures of up to -1 degree Celsius are expected at night in the north and maximum temperatures of up to +16 degrees during the day in the south.
