Moldovan, Polish officials approach bilateral relations

Chisinau, 12 April /MOLDPRES/- On a working visit to Warsaw, Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign and European Integration Minister Andrei Galbur met Poland's Foreign Minister Witold Waszczykowski on 11 April.
According to the Foreign and European Integration Ministry’s information and media relations service, the officials discussed issues of common interest related to bilateral relations, latest developments in the EU and the regional and international situation.
Galbur assured his counterpart of the Moldovan government’ and parliament’s commitment to implement reforms on the country’s modernization in accordance with the Association Agreement between Moldova and EU.
At the same time, the officials pointed out the positive dynamics of bilateral relations development in various areas, which on 14 July would culminate in marking the 25th anniversary of Moldovan-Polish diplomatic relations.
The talks focused on cooperation within the Eastern Partnership, an issue which will be deepened at a meeting of foreign ministers of the Visegrad Group and Eastern Partnership states.
