Moldova must use opportunities offered by Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Agreement

Chisinau, 12 April /MOLDPRES/- Deputy Foreign and European Integration Minister Daniela Morari participated in a roundtable on 11 April 2017 – “Assessing two years of implementation of the Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Agreement (DCFTA) in Moldova: impact and lessons learned”, with presentation of a study conducted by the Expert-Grup Centre, the Foreign and European Integration Ministry’s information and media relations service has reported.
Morari welcomed the civil society efforts of presenting an alternative analysis of implementing the Association Agreement between Moldova and EU and appreciated the continuity of studies, impact assessments and exercises to explain the implementation process of DCFTA, stressing the importance of exchanging expertise between public authorities and non-governmental organizations.
Also, Morari has reviewed the latest developments and progress in the implementation of the Association Agreement, in particular, component DCFTA and next priorities in the European integration. In the context, it discussed the need to fully use the opportunities offered by DCFTA.
