National Philharmonic to host show by famous Moldovan composer, book launch

Moldovan 18 April /MOLDPRES/ – A performance of arias and romances by composer Eugen Doga on lyrics by Mihai Eminescu and Veronica Micle entitled “Dialogurile dragostei” (Dialogues of Love) will be staged on 19 April, in the Great Hall of National Philharmonic “Serghei Lunchevici” at 18.00 hours.

There will be released Volume I of “Dialogues of Love” before the presentation which contains 25 arias and romances, signed by Eugen Doga on lyrics by Veronica Micle and Mihai Eminescu.

At a briefing with reporters, held today at the general rehearsal of the show, Eugen Doga said that throughout those dialogues he wanted to convey love of Mihai Eminescu and Veronica Micle, which remained as a will in their books.

"I think these two great personalities of the Romanian culture were created for each other. Their feelings represented a real dialogue. They teach us to love ourselves and those close to us. I shall start a tour with “The Dialogues of Love” in May in the footsteps of Eminescu in several cities in Romania. This love lived through music and poetry must be shared with all”, said Eugen Doga.
