Moldovan Metropolitan Church calls that for Memorial Easter prayers to be exalted in churches

Chisinau, 22 April /MOLDPRES/ – The Metropolitan Church of Chisinau and of Moldova came today with an appeal that "the Memorial Easter to be commemorated in holy places and settlements", despite the abundant snow that affected the whole Moldova.
"For the Memorial Easter, we recommend that in areas where there is no access to the cemeteries and it is impossible to direct the divine services to the tombs of those who are asleep, the prayers to be raised in the holy places and settlements," says a circular signed by HE Vladimir, Metropolitan of Chisinau and the whole of Moldova.
At the same time, the Metropolitan Church warned the believers who honor this memorial Easter, and are used to moving to other areas and localities to reach the graves of their relatives and loved ones, to be cautious and to confine themselves to commemorations in neighbouring churches.
"After snow cease and winding up of snow, we urge you to bring the graves to order, and then to serve. God save us from these calamities through which we pass and give health and power to everybody," says the Bishop of Moscow Metropolitan Vladimir.
The Circular of the Chisinau and Moldovan Metropolitan Church was relinquished after the abundant snowfall of the recent few days left about 600 localities without electricity and blocked many local and regional access roads.
