Moldovan PM has telephone conversation with Turkish counterpart

Chisinau, 22 April /MOLDPRES/ – Prime Minister Pavel Filip had a telephone conversation with Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yildirim today.
According to the government’s communication and protocol department, in the dialogue, Pavel Filip informed about the situation created in the context of bad weather that has turned over Moldova. At the same time, the Prime Minister also referred to the actions of the Government to continue the European path of Moldova and to implement the necessary reforms for the economic development and improvement of the citizens' living conditions.
The Turkish Prime Minister expressed his regret for the unfavorable weather conditions which Moldova had been exposed to in the recent days and confirmed the Turkish Government's willingness to contribute to the mitigation of the damages incurred by Moldova.
The talks also addressed aspects of Moldovan-Turkish relations and prospects for the development of bilateral cooperation. Officials also exchanged views on the political situation in Moldova and Turkey.
The telephone conversation took place in the context of the close official visit that Prime Minister Binali Yildirim will perform in early May in Moldova. This will be the first visit by a head of the Turkish Government to the Republic of Moldova.
