Moldovan anti-corruption officers conduct searches in file on paid parking

Chisinau, 25 April /MOLDPRES/- The National Anticorruption Centre (CNA) today conducted searches in the file on paid parking. Among the places raided by the law enforcement bodies is also the residence of deputy mayor of Chisinau Nistor Grozavu.
CNA Spokeswoman Angela Starinschi noted that several officials and business people were investigated in the file. “Currently, CNA officers conduct searches at the homes of many citizens. More details will be given throughout the day”, Starinschi said.
Yet in 2015, CNA opened a criminal case on paid parking in Chisinau.
The Chisinau city hall has planned public debates on the project, Regulation on operation of paid parking in Chisinau.
