Chisinau, 27 April /MOLDPRES/- The law stipulating the five-year extension of the period of use of training vehicles in driving schools will be published in the Official Journal of Moldova on 28 April.
Under the law, the vehicles in categories BE, C, CE, C1, C1E, D, DE, D1 and D1E, which do not meet the technical criteria but were admitted to use before 1 January 2017 will be used in training students until 1 January 2022.
According to the draft’s informative note, the purpose of the amendment is to ensure the training process in driving schools in the country, as due to the poor financial situation of the institutions, all training vehicles could not be purchased within two years.
Also, the issue will comprise a string of explanatory notes set by the Customs Service for the implementation of the combined nomenclature of goods.
According to the Customs Service, the acts are in support of the economic agents and will allow to avoid litigation, as the law stipulated a single rule set up by the World Customs Organisation which will be applied in case of divergences on classification and coding of the goods.
