Chisinau, 27 April /MOLDPRES/- The decision on increase in minimum guaranteed salary in the real sector on 1 May will be published in the Official Journal of Moldova on 28 April.

According to the document, the minimum guaranteed salary in the real sector (enterprises, organizations, institutions with financial autonomy, regardless of type of ownership and legal form) will be increased by 280 lei reaching 2,380 lei per month starting from 1 May 2017. At present, the minimum guaranteed monthly wage is 2,100 lei.

Under the law in force, the monthly wage of an employee cannot be less than the guaranteed minimum salary in the real sector.

Also, the issue will comprise a decision on the transfer of a rest day in May. According to the document approved by the government, 8 May will be day off and will be recovered on 20 May.
