National Army sappers defused 30 explosive devices in April

Chisinau, 4 May /MOLDPRES/- During April the National Army sappers have defused 30 explosive devices in the settlements of Causeni, Ungheni, Anenii Noi, Leova and Stefan Voda districts.
According to Lieutenant Colonel, Head of the National Army Engineer Service Serghei Chilivnic, the sappers made 16 exits for the execution of combat missions, during which they destroyed the artillery shells and mines from thrower, all during the World War II.
The most dangerous operation was carried out near Causeni, where during the agricultural works, three bombs were found from thrower, being subsequently destroyed at the military training base of the National Army in Bulboaca.
According to data by the Defence Ministry, in the first four months of this year, the sappers made 42 exits in different settlements, where they cleared 80 explosive devices.
