Moldovan foreign ministry's secretary-general visits school in Ireland

Chisinau, 4 May /MOLDPRES/- Visiting Ireland on 1-4 May, Secretary-General of the Foreign and European Integration Ministry Anatol Vangheli visited a school in Dublin, where the children of our fellow citizens are studying, the Foreign and European Integration Ministry’s information and media relations service has reported.
A support message from the Moldovan authorities was conveyed during discussions with the 20 children and their parents. Also, the diaspora’s role was appreciated in promoting the values and traditions of the country, as well as the diaspora children opportunity to participate in the 5th issue of the program DOR 2017.
On the same day, a meeting with representatives of the Irish diaspora was held, focusing on the main topical issues in Moldova, as well as addressing the issues faced by our citizens within the competence of the Foreign and European Integration Ministry. In the context, thanks were given to the ministry for the decision to open the honorary consulate in Dublin.
