Moldovan foreign minister to visit USA

Chisinau, 5 May /MOLDPRES/- Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign and European Integration Minister Andrei Galbur will pay a working visit to the USA on 8-11 May 2017 to attend a Core Group Meeting of Munich Security Conference (MSC), the Foreign and European Integration Ministry’s information and media relations service has reported.

The event will allow discussion in a restricted framework of policies and developments in the security and defense field.

During the conference, the sides will approach such issues as: Transatlantic cooperation, Russia and Eastern Europe, misinformation and influencing campaigns – current themes of particular interest to Moldova in the current geostrategic context. At the same time, the priority topics for the MSC 2018 agenda are to be planned.

Also, Galbur has scheduled a string of meetings with American officials to broach priorities of agenda of bilateral relations Moldova-USA.
