Moldovan foreign minister meets U.S. president's deputy assistant

Chisinau, 9 May /MOLDPRES/ - Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign and European Integration Minister Andrei Galbur, on a visit to Washington, on 8 May had a meeting with U.S. President’s Deputy Assistant, Senior Director for European and Russian Affairs at the White House’s National Security Council Fiona Hill, the Foreign and European Integration Ministry’s information and media communication service has reported.
The officials discussed prospects for development of the Moldova-USA relations, with emphasis on the Strategic Dialogue and re-launching the cooperation within the sectoral working groups. The sides also exchanged opinions on the dynamic of the regional and international developments.
Minister Andrei Galbur highlighted the importance of maintaining Moldova on the agenda of the American Administration’s foreign policy priorities.
Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign and European Integration Minister Andrei Galbur on 8-11 May is on a working visit to the United States, to participate in a meeting of the nucleus group of the Munich Security Conference.
