MOLDPRES agency signs cooperation agreement with Anadolu Agency of Turkey

Chisinau, 11 May /MOLDPRES/- The leadership of the State News Agency “MOLDPRES” signed on 5 May a cooperation agreement with the Anadolu Agency of Turkey. The event took place during the visit to Chisinau by Prime Minister of Turkey Binali Yildirım.
The document provides for the exchange of news in English and Russian, photos and videos. Also, the parties agreed not to provide news to third parties and not to use the materials for commercial or entertainment purposes.
The document also stipulates that both parties have the right to draw up materials provided they do not change the content. The two agencies had committed to exchange experience and technical assistance through communication between editors, reporters and photographers.
“The agreement will facilitate the exchange of news related to the large-scale events in the two countries and is fitted into expansion of the bilateral relations between Moldova and Turkey”, chief editor of AIS “MOLDPRES” Simion Ropot said.
Currently, AIS “Moldpres” exchanges information under similar agreements with news agencies: Agerpres (Romania), ITAR-TASS (Russia), Ukrinform (Ukraine), Belta (Belarus), BTA (Bulgaria), Xinhua (China).
