Chinese authorities to earmark 100,000 dollars to overcome consequences of April heavy snow

Chisinau, 11 May /MOLDPRES/- Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Lilian Darii had a meeting today with the Chargé d'affaires a.i. of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Moldova, Guo Xueli, the Foreign and European Integration Ministry's information and media relations service has reported.
Officials discussed issues of the bilateral agenda, including ways to boost political cooperation through exchange of high-level visits, trade-economic delegations, and the collaboration within international fora.
During the meeting, the Chinese side announced the allocation of a 100,000-dollar non-reimbursable grant from the Red Cross Society of China to the Red Cross Association of the Republic of Moldova. These funds are directed to overcome the consequences of the heavy snowfall from April 2017.
