New Ambassador of Moldova to Moscow submits resignation application from position of MP

Chisinau, 12 May /MOLDPRES/- New Ambassador of Moldova to Moscow Andrei Neguta today submitted to the leadership of the parliament his resignation application from the position of MP.
Neguta noted that it is not the first time he gives up his MP mandate for the ambassador position, and thanked his colleagues for the collaboration. The vacant mandate will be taken over by Oleg Cuciuc, the next one on the list of the Party of Socialists.
Lately, Neguta served as chairman of the parliamentary commission on foreign policy, and after Dodon’s election as president of Moldova, he took over the post of foreign policy adviser to the president.
During 2003-2006, Neguta served as Moldovan Ambassador to France, simultaneously in Spain and Portugal, and from 2008 to 2012 – he held the position of Moldovan Ambassador to the Russian Federation.
