Moldova's Audiovisual Public Institution has new head

Chisinau, 12 May /MOLDPRES/ - The Audiovisual Coordination Council (CCA) has a new head – Dragos Vicol, after the former leadership has resigned.
At a today’s meeting of CCA, Dinu Ciocan and Nicolae Damaschin tendered resignation from the positions of president and, respectively, deputy president, at their own initiative. They thanked the CCA members and employees for the confidence and support offered in the work carried out during their mandates.
The new CCA president, Dragos Vicol, was elected with seven votes for and one abstention.
Dragos Vicol was elected CCA member on 3 April 2015. In 1995, Vicol graduated from the Faculty of Letters of the Bucharest University. In 1995-1998, he trained for the doctor’s degree at the same university. Dragos Vicol is prose writer, literary critic, member of the Moldovan Writers’ Union, university professor and PhD in philology.
