Moldova's eight localities remain without electricity caused by rain

Chisinau, 14 May /MOLDPRES/ – Eight localities in five districts of Moldova have no electricity due to heavy rains. That is why, the Moldovan Railroads announced to cease train local routes for today.
According to the Civil Protection and Emergency Situations Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs’ (MAI) operative data, there are more villages in Nisporeni, Straseni, Anenii Noi, Causeni, Taraclia and ATU Gagauzia with no electricity.
According to the cited source, firefighters and rescuers intervened during the night pumping water in 32 households in Cimislia town and in nine yards and cellars in locality Tintareni, Anenii Noi district. Two other requests were registered in Chisinau. The rescuers also pulled six cars and two passenger buses out of the torrents way.
The Friday yellow code of rains and storms will maintain also on Sunday, 14 May. On Monday, the rains will reduce followed by an increase of temperatures.
