Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency to further back Moldova's European integration

Chisinau, 15 May /MOLDPRES/- Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Lilian Darii received today a delegation of the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA), headed by Elsa Håstad, Director of the Department for Europe and Latin America, the Foreign and European Integration Ministry's information and media relations service has reported.

During the meeting, Deputy Minister Lilian Darii expressed gratitude for the technical assistance and expertise provided by Sweden in the implementation of the Republic of Molodva-European Union Association Agreement, as well as for supporting important projects in the areas of human rights protection and gender equality, democratic consolidation, energy efficiency and improving the investment climate, agriculture and information technologies.

For her part, Elsa Håstad assured that SIDA will continue to support the European agenda of reforms in the Republic of Moldova.
