Moldovan deputy foreign minister holds talks with civil society’s representatives

Chisinau, 07 September /MOLDPRES/ – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, in the spirit of the tradition of promoting an active dialogue and marking the 3-year anniversary of the implementation of the Moldova-EU Association Agreement, organized a meeting with representatives of civil society, chaired by Deputy Minister Daniela Morari, today, the Foreign and European Integration Ministry’s information and media communication service has reported.
During the event, the progress and lessons learnt from the Moldova-EU Association Agreement’s implementation within 3 years. Also, there were discussed the priorities of the Moldova-EU agenda for the next period, the cooperation in the Eastern Partnership, as well as the valorisation of the multilateral cooperation with the EU through the road map of the development priorities to be established at the Eastern Partnership Summit in November.
Deputy Foreign Minister, Daniela Morari, reconfirmed the firm commitment of the authorities to implement the Association Agreement, expressing the hope that civil society would continue to be a key partner in ensuring the promotion of the reform agenda as well as efforts to inform society about the EU and the benefits being derived from Moldova-EU cooperation.
The official encouraged the revival of sector cooperation based on the expertise and capabilities of civil society, as well as involvement in the process of updating the Action Plan for the implementation of the Moldova-EU Association Agreement.
