Russian delegation to Joint Control Commission introduces its co-head

Chisinau, 15 September /MOLDPRES/ - A meeting of the Joint Control Commission (JCC), chaired by Moldova’s delegation, was held in the Bender city on 14 September. The meeting’s agenda comprised more organizational subjects, the Reintegration Policies Bureau has reported.
At a proposal by Russian Ambassador to Moldova Farit Mukhametshin, the JCC approved the candidacy of an adviser of the Russian Embassy, Ilya Uvarov, as head of the delegation to the Commission on behalf of Russia.
Also, following a request by Head of the OSCE Mission to Moldova Michael Scanlan, the list of OSCE representatives, due to act as experts within JCC, was reconfirmed.
In the end, the participants in the meeting approved a report by the Unified Military Command on the situation in the Security Zone on the period of 6-12 September this year.
The next meeting of the Joint Control Commission will take place on 21 September.
