Fifteen public institutions set forth work within Moldovan parliament

Chisinau, 15 September /MOLDPRES/ - Fifteen institutions which report to parliament answered an invitation by the legislative body to participate in actions on informing organized on the International Day of Democracy, the parliament’s communications and public relations department has reported.
The Intelligence and Security Service of Moldova (SIS), Prosecutor General’s Office, National Anticorruption Service, National Bank of Moldova, Court of Accounts, Audiovisual Coordination Council, Ombudsman’s Office, Authority for Integrity, National Energy Regulatory Agency, National Centre for Personal Data Protection and other institutions during the day informed visitors and participants in workshops about their activity, as well as about the way citizens can participate in taking decisions at the concerned institutions.
Also today, the platform for gender equality inaugurated an exhibition of caricatures titled, Gender Equality Understood by Everybody, at the parliament’s museum.
Parliament Speaker Andrian Candu visited the exhibition till the noon. The speaker thanked the participants for involvement, stressing the importance of the partnership and cooperation between the public institutions, civil society and people.
The week of parliamentary opening is held on 11-16 September 2017.
