Chisinau, 19 September /MOLDPRES/- The parliament will hold a special meeting on 21 September. Speaker Andrian Candu made the statement today.
Candu said that the agenda of the special meeting will consist 90 per cent of draft laws previously rejected by head of state Igor Dodon.
“We will discuss the law on terrorism, reform of the Academy of Sciences, law on energy and meal vouchers. It is inadmissible for citizens to be deprived of the benefits of these laws, just because the president has some pride and interest. Refusal to enforce these laws also means hindering the implementation of EU-Moldova Association Agreement and a waste of time and money”, he said.
The speaker noted that as soon as the draft laws are revived, they will be submitted again for promulgation.
