Moldovan parliament to hold plenary meeting on 21 September

Chisinau, 20 September /MOLDPRES/ - The parliament will hold a plenary meeting on 21 September, starting from 10:00. The Standing Bureau today took the concerned decision, at a proposal by Parliament Speaker Andrian Candu, the parliament’s communication and public relations department has reported.
The agenda proposed to the plenum will include more laws submitted for consideration. Laws examined by parliamentary commissions so far have been introduced on the agenda.
Under the Article 93, paragraph 2, of the Moldovan Constitution, the president of Moldova has right, if having any objections to a law, to submit it to parliament for reconsideration in a period of two weeks at the latest. If the parliament maintains its earlier adopted decision, the president promulgates the law.
Also, at the 21 September meeting, the parliament will discuss a draft law on the amendment of the law on wage payment system in the budgetary sector, which provides for a ten-percent increase in the office salaries.
