Moldovan foreign minister meets Armenian counterpart in New York

Chisinau, 21 September /MOLDPRES/- Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign and European Integration Minister Andrei Galbur had a meeting with Foreign Minister of Armenia Edward Nalbandian on 20 September, in the context of the participation in the 72nd session of the UN General Assembly in New York, the MAEIE’s public diplomacy, strategic communication and media relations service has reported.

The officials approached issues related to the current stage and perspectives of development of the Moldovan-Armenian bilateral relations. At the same time, they welcomed boosting the bilateral political dialogue and mentioned the good cooperation of the two countries within the international organizations.

Referring to the bilateral trade exchanges, the officials voiced confidence that through joint efforts the goal on using the trade potential between the two countries will be achieved. They stressed the role of the intergovernmental commission for Moldovan-Armenian trade cooperation.
