Moldova, Hungary sign agreement on cooperation, mutual assistance in case of emergencies

Chisinau, 21 September /MOLDPRES/- On the sidelines of the 72nd session of the UN General Assembly held in New York, Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign and European Integration Minister Andrei Galbur had a meeting with Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó, the MAEIE’s media relations service has reported.
The two officials exchanged views on the current stage of Moldovan-Hungarian relations, domestic situation in Moldova and regional developments. Also, they discussed cooperation in the Visegrad Group and bilateral development assistance projects from Hungary.
The officials signed an agreement between the Moldovan and Hungarian governments on cooperation and mutual assistance in case of emergencies.
