Best students from Moldovan north city university to receive parliament speaker's scholarship

Chisinau, 13 November /MOLDPRES/ – "Get involved into promoting things that you care of and invest in your professional training," said Parliament Speaker, Andrian Candu, to students and professors from State University Alecu Russo in Balti, today.
According to the parliament’s communication and public relations department, Andrian Candu noted that after two years of intense work the crisis was over and we have reached the stage of development. According to him, there are several major projects for people to be implemented in the period to come, but for their success it is necessary to involve people in their realization.
The young people were interested in the measures taken by the authorities to get people back home. Andrian Candu spoke to them about the Prima Casa (First Home) project, attracting investment, developing the IT sector, business start – up and development facilities aimed at generating jobs and consequently raising the living standards.
Project First Home and facilities it provided generated most of the questions. The Parliament Speaker said the project was to be approved by the end of 2017 while technical details would be discussed, including in public debates organized by the Legislature. According to him, that project would be applied from early 2018.
The Speaker of the Parliament, together with the Minister of Education, Culture and Research, Monica Babuc, talked about the reform in education, competitiveness and the correlation between demand on the market and educational offer. Similarly, Andrian Candu announced that he would grant the Parliament Speaker’s scholarship for four of the best students of the State University Alecu Russo in Balti.
The speaker is accompanied in Balti by the deputy speaker of the legislature, Vladimir Vitiuc. According to agenda, the leadership of Parliament will have a meeting with business people in the Northern area of Moldova and discuss with the local press today.
