Moldova, Belarus marks 25 years since establishment of diplomatic relations

Chisinau, 19 November /MOLDPRES/ – On occasion of the 25th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between Moldova and Belarus, Deputy Prime Minister, Andrei Galbur, Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, and Belarus Foreign Minister, Vladimir Makei, made an exchange of congratulatory messages today, the MAEIE’s public diplomacy, strategic communication and media interaction service has reported.
The message of the Moldovan diplomat states: "Over a quarter of a century, the friendly relations between the Republic of Moldova and the Republic of Belarus have developed on the basis of the mutual respect of two peoples, trust and openness for a constructive dialogue, is the necessary foundation for further cooperation and joint projects on the bilateral agenda."
At his turn, Belarusian counterpart, Vladimir Makei, appreciated good relations of friendship and bilateral cooperation within 25 years since establishment of diplomatic relations and expressed conviction that they would keep their ascendant character.
The diplomatic relations between Moldova and Belarus were established on 19 November 1992.
