Moldovan foreign minister meets members of Moldovan community in Washington D.C.

Chisinau, 4 February /MOLDPRES/- On February 2nd, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of the Republic of Moldova, Tudor Ulianovschi, met with members of the Moldovan community from Washington D.C., in the framework of the visit to the United States of America.

During the event, the participants had the opportunity to ask various questions of interest and find out first hand information on the priorities of Moldovan foreign policy, the evolution of the relations between the Republic of Moldova and the United States of America, as well as the results of the working visit of the Top Diplomat in Chisinau to the American capital city.

The meeting was a good opportunity for an exchange of views on the procedures for assistance and protection of the rights of fellow citizens abroad, the ways to strengthen the Diaspora’s role in developing the country of origin, as well as ways to preserve national customs and traditions.
