Moldovan foreign affairs minister meets heads of diplomatic missions of Baltic states

Chisinau, 5 February /MOLDPRES/ - Foreign Affairs and European Integration Minister Tudor Ulianovschi today had a meeting with the heads of the diplomatic missions of the Baltic states accredited in Chisinau: Rimantas Latakas, Lithuania; Atis Lots, Latvia, and Simmu Tiik, Estonia.
According to the public diplomacy, strategic communication and media interaction service of the Foreign and European Integration Ministry (MAEIE), Minister Ulianovschi, along with the heads of the diplomatic missions tackled an entire spectrum of bilateral agenda of Moldova with Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia, including important aspects of Moldova’s European integration process. In the context, Minister Ulianovschi expressed appreciations for the political support provided by the Baltic States to Moldova within European institutions and other international organizations, as well as for the development assistance offered to implement diverse important projects in Moldova.
The sides stressed mutual commitment for the further promotion of the bilateral political dialogue, both through exchange of high-level visits during 2018, and through deepening this dialogue in the context of the regional and sectoral cooperation.
Also, the officials exchanged opinions on developments in the Transnistrian conflict settlement process, including prospects for this year, in the context of the Italian OSCE chairmanship.
