National Integrity Authority of Moldova to have 76 employees

Chisinau, 15 February /MOLDPRES/ - A decision on the approval of the structure and limit staff of the National Integrity Authority (ANI) will be published in the 16 February issue of Moldova’s Official Journal (Monitorul Oficial).
Under the document, ANI will have a corps of integrity inspectors, who will check the asset declarations of officials and several subdivisions. Thus, a service of security and control of integrity will be set up within the Authority; this subdivision will carry out measures of internal security, will ensure the promotion of quality standards of the work of control of the integrity inspectors and the observance of the ethics and conduct norms.
The service will also assess the work of the integrity inspectors, will manage the internal investigations in which the latter will be concerned, and will provide the internal audit of ANI. The subdivision’s powers will also include control over the observance of the process of aleatory distribution of notifications, of accessing personal data and databases at the disposal of the integrity inspectors.
At the same time, an Integrity Inspectorate will work at ANI, due to be in charge of the control over the wealth, personal interests, incompatibilities and restrictions for the ANI inspectors. The department for the assessment, prevention and implementation of policies, legal department, human resources and documentation department and the financial and administrative department will work at ANI too. To ensure the functioning and development of the automated information system E-Integritate (E-Integrity), decision-makers propose to create the information technologies service, and to ensure the transparency of the work and develop communication, the cooperation and public relations service will be set up.
