Moldovan premier, German chancellor's foreign policy adviser discuss bilateral cooperation

Chisinau, 17 February /MOLDPRES/ - Prime Minister Pavel Filip, on a working visit to Munich, has had a meeting with the German Chancellor’s foreign policy adviser, Jan Hecker. The sides exchanged opinions on the Moldovan-German cooperation and implementation of the European reforms in Moldova, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
The prime minister expressed gratitude for the constant political support provided by Germany for Moldova’s European integration. In the context, Pavel Filip said that he relied on a good carrying out of a meeting of the European Action Group for Moldova, due in Brussels on 26 February 2018.
At the same time, the PM thanked Germany for the support of the Transnistrian settlement process, including during 2016, when Germany held the OSCE chairmanship.
In the context, Jan Hecker said that Germany would further back Moldova’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, reforms’ implementation, actions for modernizing and optimizing the work of public institutions in Moldova.
