Moldovan foreign affairs minister meets president of Hanns Seidel Foundation from Germany

Chisinau, 19 February /MOLDPRES/ - Foreign Affairs and European Integration Minister Tudor Ulianovschi, during a visit to the Free State of Bavaria, today had a meeting with President of the Hanns Seidel Foundation, affiliated to the Christian Social Union, Ursula Mannle, the Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry’s public diplomacy, strategic communication and media interaction service has reported.

The officials tackled subjects on the present political events in Germany and Moldova and the work of the Hanns Seidel Foundation in Moldova. The Moldovan foreign affairs minister appreciated the support provided by the German Christian Social Foundation to Moldova’s civil society, to promoting the European idea in the Moldovan society and deepening the democratic processes.

The German interlocutor praised the effort made by the Moldovan government to get the country closer to the European Union.

Also, Ursula Mannle expressed interest in visiting Moldova in the near future.
