Chisinau, 20 February /MOLDPRES/- Road traffic safety was on the agenda of the Democratic Party of Moldova (PDM). The government has already made a number of amendments that illegally obtained driving licenses be canceled and the number of documents for their release to be reduced. PDM spokesman Vitalie Gamurari made the statements today.
According to Gamurari, the situation in this area is sensible, the more that on social networks there are still many posts where people praise they are getting permits without necessary examinations.
“There is more and more information on the procedure in which the driving licenses are obtained, how these exams are. PDM will come up with a legislative initiative to eliminate gaps arising in the procedure for withdrawing illegally obtained licenses and an initiative that will reduce the number of documents required to issue driver cards. We try to ensure traffic safety and to help Moldovans who want to get their driving license,” he said.
Earlier last week, Democrat leader Vlad Plahotniuc asked the leadership of the Interior Ministry to come up with an analysis of the situation and an analysis of how driving permits have been issued to drivers who are responsible for several road accidents.
