Moldovan foreign affairs minister unveils to Bavarian parliament paper on social, economic, political situation in Moldova

Chisinau, 20 February /MOLDPRES/ - Foreign Affairs and European Integration Minister Tudor Ulianovschi, during his working visit to the Free State of Bavaria, on 19 February presented a paper on the social, economic and political situation in Moldova in the Bavarian Landtag (parliament), the Foreign and European Integration Ministry’s public diplomacy, strategic communication and media interaction service has reported.
The event was moderated by the former state minister of Bavaria, member of the Bavarian parliament, president of the East West Economic Forum Eberhard Sinner. In his presentation, the Moldovan foreign affairs minister referred to opportunities of Moldovan-German economic cooperation, possibilities in priority sectors of investments. Ulianovschi evoked the positive example of two big Bavarian companies, Draxlmaier and Knauf, already present in Moldova. During the discussions, the Moldovan official welcomed the idea of organizing a Moldovan-German economic forum in Chisinau in the near future.
Attending the event were about 40 people (journalists, politicians, business people).
The Free State of Bavaria is one of the biggest subjects of the German Federation, with a population of 13 million residents and a yearly nominal Gross Domestic Product of more than 600 billion euros.
