Director of Chisinau urban bus park resigns

Chisinau, 26 February /MOLDPRES/ – The director of the Urban Bus Park in Chisinau, Iacob Capcelea, resigned from office. The announcement was made by the interim mayor of the capital, Silvia Radu, in weekly meeting of Chisinau city hall services today.

"Mr. Capcelea will leave office on 01 March," said Silvia Radu.

Interviewed by the agency, city hall’s spokesman, Vadim Branzaniuc, said the request was filed on Thursday, 22 February. "The new management of Urban Bus Park is to be named throughout a public contest", quoted the source.

The interim mayor of Chisinau asked resignation of head of the Urban Bus Park, Iacob Capcelea, last week, after the images appeared on the Internet with a bus on route Chisinau – Ghidighici, which circulates with damaged floor. At his turn, the head of institution replied that " problems of the company are due to insufficient funding".

Also today, the local authorities announced that on 10 March expires activity mandate of Gheorghe Morgoci, director of the Chisinau Electric Transmission Company. "And in this case, new boss is to be named throughout a public contest," Brânzaniuc said.

Recently, he resigned and director of the municipal enterprise of Association of management of green spaces, Eliferii Haruta.
