Moldovan PM calls for effective cooperation between authorities on weather

Chisinau, 27 February /MOLDPRES/- Prime Minister Pavel Filip today convened an emergency meeting on bad weather situation. The premier called for permanent communication and effective interaction between the responsible authorities, so that to prevent crisis situations, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
Regarding the condition of the roads, a satisfactory situation was found, only in the south of the country snowy and icy roads are recorded. To ensure the practicability of all routes, 306 tons of anti-skid material were prepared, 53 special vehicles and 75 workers were involved in. Electricity disconnections are not recorded.
In this context, Filip asked the responsible authorities to take necessary measures to prevent crises, as well as street jams. Also, he called for an increase in the number of police crews on the routes, so that citizens can get help quickly, including homeless people.
The premier urged the specialized structures to be in permanent contact with local authorities to coordinate their efforts in managing critical situations.
