Moldovan parliament member of democrats’ party warned by leadership of party after statement made in Gagauzia

Chisinau, 27 February /MOLDPRES/ – Democrat MP, Cornel Dudnic, was warned by the leadership of Democrats’ party of Moldova (PDM) after a statement made at a meeting convened by the head from Comrat. The announcement was made by the leader of PDM, Vlad Plahotniuc, today, which said that virulent statements not to be tolerated within party.

According to Plahotniuc, the MP was asked to refrain from virulent approaches and harsh statements in perspective. "PDM is not used to censoring its members for opinions of pro or against, each has the right to their own opinion." PDM does not accept incitement to violence, especially statements involving, even hypothetically, use of force or weapons", said the leader of Democrats.

Democrat MP, Cornel Dudnic, said at a meeting convened by head of Gagauzia, Irina Vlah, that in event of a possible union of Moldova with Romania, "he will be the first to take the gun in his hands to defend the region."
