Moldovan foreign minister meets with members of European parliament

Chisinau, 27 February /MOLDPRES/ – In the context of the working visit of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, Tudor Ulianovschi, to Brussels, he met with the President of the European Parliament Delegation to the Parliamentary Union of Moldova – EU, Andi Cristea, and rapporteur of Parliament on Association Agreement of Moldova – EU, Petras Auštrevičius, the MAEIE’s public diplomacy, strategic communication and media interaction service has reported.  

During the meetings, there were discussed priorities on the European integration dimension of Moldova and the implementation of reforms in key areas. In particular, it was approached the process of implementing the conditionality set for macro – financial assistance granted by EU to Moldova.

The Moldovan official expressed gratitude for constant support of the European Parliament in promoting the European path of the Republic of Moldova, as well as for the European integration approaches of Moldova. Particularly, it was emphasized the role of Parliamentary Association Committee in the context of monitoring the implementation of the Moldova – EU Association Agreement.
