Transnistrian leadership tightens law on recruitment

Chisinau, 28 February /MOLDPRES/ – The leader of the self – proclaimed Transnistrian Moldavian Republic (TMR), Vadim Krasnoselski, signed the amendments to the law on recruitment in the armed forces today, providing for more tightening, with reference to electronic sources.
According to amendments recently voted by the so – called supreme Soviet in Tiraspol, recruitment records will be carried out by military commissariats not only at home but also at real place of living if the length of stay exceeds three – month period. Previously, the military commissariats in the region made record exclusively at the place indicated by passport residence visa.
According to the authors of the amendments, their purpose is to "perform more efficiently the mobilisation resources".
Also today, at a meeting from the alleged ministry of defence in the Transnistrian region, Krasnoselski said that "defence and security of TMR remains a priority in the work of state and administrative authorities". Also, there were outlined objectives and measures meant to strengthen defence capability of so-called Transnistrian Moldovan republic at the meeting.
