Moldovan cabinet approves budget of 112 emergency service for 2018

Chisinau, 28 February /MOLDPRES/- The cabinet today approved the budget of the 112 emergency service for this year amounting to 67 million lei, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
The largest part of the financial means worth about 45.3 million lei is intended for the acquisition of the Automated Information System of the 112 service. The resources will be also used for the preparation and endowment of the service offices in Bacioi village, Chisinau and for current expenses.
The implementation of the single European emergency number 112 in Moldova aims at enhancing the protection of the people throughout the country by providing specialized services with the necessary information for a prompt and adequate response. The service will become operational by late March 2018, integrating numbers – 901, 902 and 903.
