Ordinary meeting of education working groups held in Tiraspol

Chisinau, 1 March /MOLDPRES/- An ordinary meeting of education working groups was held at the OSCE Mission to Tiraspol on 28 February, with the participation of representatives of the 5+2 negotiation format. The delegation of Chisinau was led by Secretary General of State at the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research Igor Șarov, the Bureau for Reintegration has reported.
The Moldovan side noted that to meet the commitments agreed on 25 November 2017 at the level of political representatives in negotiations on Transnistrian settlement, by the government decision No138 of 7.02.2018 on completing point 9 of the apostille implementation regulation, the necessary legal framework was set up for apostille of diplomas issued by the Taras Shevchenko University in Tiraspol. In this respect, the representative of the Justice Ministry of Moldova has outlined the procedure and the concrete steps due to be taken by the graduates of the above-mentioned educational institution in order to get the apostille.
The sides also approached the developments recorded in the implementation of the provisions of the protocol decision on functioning of the Moldovan schools with teaching in Latin script in the Transnistrian region.
At the same time, the talks also focused on moving of pupils from the Dubasari educational institutions to participate in various educational activities at district level.
The sides agreed to maintain the dialogue and dynamic activity of the education working group.
